Louenna Hood BEM, qualified Norland Nanny and Maternity Nurse, has cared for over 100 children over the past two decades, travelled the world with families, including high profile and royal families. Having been a go-to support for many parents over the years, Louenna wanted to help thousands of parents, not just those who employ her, on their most important journey … parenting!  By making her expertise accessible to all via a dedicated parenting support “The Louenna app”, Louenna wants to help create happy families and thriving children. The app is an all round parenting resource with video demonstrations - emulating Louenna being with you on every step of your journey.  The app has integrated features such as feeding timers, sleep and nappy logs, and includes over 150 activity ideas, has a children’s health section, fitness tips for parents, mindfulness for both parents and children, plus more than 100 family friendly recipes.

Louenna’s Nannies - an agency with a difference, was launched in August 2022.  A nanny agency that provides First Class Childcare. Uniquely, the nannies are mentored by Louenna and all complete her online course ‘How to be the Best Nanny.’

Louenna has successfully mentored newly qualified childcarer’s during her later years as a nanny, and is passionate that nannies realise they have one of the most important jobs in the world; raising the future.  Inspiring to help other nannies become the best professional they can be, Louenna’s online training school was born.

In March 2022, Louenna raised a staggering £190k for Ukrainian refugee families and as a result was presented with a ‘Point of Light’ award by the Prime Minister and a British Empire Medal in King Charles’ 2023 New Year’s Honors.

Aside from the app, agency and consultancy service, Louenna is incredibly active on social media and has amassed an impressive following. Louenna offers free advice through her platforms including regular Q&A sessions where followers can ask advice on any burning childcare issues.
